There are very few reasons NOT to go to Ravinia. Located right off the Metra Union Pacific North Line in Highland Park is a cultural oasis packed with music lovers like yourself. Choose from classical to modern to country to rock, Ravinia has it all. The best part is, this place is only open in the summer and encourages its patrons to sit on the lawn (a measly $15 a person), bring wine and food and just listen and spend time with friends. Imagine if your every day life could be filled with music. That’s pretty much what Ravinia gets you. It’s one of my favorite places to go in the summer and I love bringing a cold bottle of wine, some local grub, a blanket and my friends.
